Think nerd fashion only comes via anime costumes and graphic tees? So did I, but French fashion designer André (JUST André) got his latest inspiration from DC Comics. No, I’m not talking spandex or capes. Although capes are ALL the rage this fall (seriously: see here). But André has dedicated his new shoe collection exclusively to Wonder Woman and Catwoman. I’ve always thought Wonder Woman was particularly hot and bad ass, but not sure I would come off the same way walking down Sunset Blvd. in her thigh highs. If you think you can pull it off, start converting your cash because this is for European nerdists only. What do you think? Would you wear these superhero shoes?

Both Wonder Women shoes are awesome! The boots very nice and the oxfords are kick ass!
I love love love the Wonder Woman oxfords – but I’d probably also wear bowling shoes in public.
There’s a pair of blue (maybe black?) and tan oxford flats on Andre’s website, the Olympe, that are quite cute. I think the lack of the Wonder Woman logo helps. The boots, though, are to die for.
Oh, my gosh! My brain just exploded. Shoes based on female superheroes. Insane, like the best designs ever. Freakin’ kickass shoes, I wouldn’t mind seeing more female superhero inspired shoes, boots, and/or sandals. Awesome!
I agree with Robin and Megan’s comments about the Wonder Women shoes but I love those Catwoman black flats. I would totally wear those to work too!
I agree, the wonder woman shoes look like bowling shoes. The flats are kinda eh. But, those boots? HOT.
I think that it’s awesome that they’re making shoes based on comic book superheroes but at the same time I would like to know what the designer was thinking when he made the Wonder Woman shoes. They look like bowling shoes and I don’t know about other girls, but I wouldn’t want to wear those outside of Halloween/a bowling alley. But the boots are pretty awesome!
