It’s after February 14, but the time to celebrate Valentine’s Day hasn’t passed just yet. The CW’s Supergirl will take part the holiday tradition in their February 20 episode, which will feature none other than Mr. Mxyzptlk. Watch a promo for the episode in today’s TV-Cap and also learn about Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams coming to Amazon, the return of Outlander on Starz, and more.
Such Charm. Love is in the air in the next installment of Supergirl, and the emotion is accompanied by the fifth dimensional being Mr. Mxyzptlk. He’s been a rival of Superman’s and Batman’s, but now he’s facing off against Kara. He doesn’t come with anger in his heart though. Nah, he’s in National City to ask for Kara’s hand in marriage in “Mr. & Mrs. Mxyzptlk.” Hijinks are probably going to ensue. [CBR]

On to Amazon. May 2016 brought the exciting news that Channel 4 had commissioned an anthology series inspired by Philip K. Dick’s work, titled Electric Dreams: The World of Philip K. Dick. And now, Amazon has picked up the 10-episode series, currently titled Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams. The anthology is based on short stories by Dick; Bryan Cranston, Ronald D. Moore, and Michael Dinner are producing. Cranston will also star in a single episode. [Deadline]
Goodbye, Scotland! The stars of Outlander on Starz are leaving Scotland to shoot the last five episodes of season three in a new location: South Africa. They’ll be using sets Starz had in place for Black Sails. The news comes with a video from Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe, bidding a fond farewell to the country where they’ve spent so much time recently, and making an announcement about when the show will return. Season three will debut in September 2017. The Droughtlander is going to last longer than I expected, but if you’ve read the third book in the Outlander series, Voyager, you know the magnitude of the story.
Additional Additions. Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger has added more cast members to the roster of the upcoming Freeform series. Here are the highlights: Andrea Roth is set to play Tandy’s (Dagger) mom, Gloria Reuben will portray Tyrone’s (Cloak) mother, and Miles Mussenden will play Tyrone’s dad. Going Solo. James Corden has turned a segment from The Late Late Show into a series for Apple Music. Carpool Karaoke: The Series marks Apple’s first foray into original programming. A trailer for the upcoming series shows off celebrity pairings singing their hearts out inside and outside of the car. The show is set to debut in 2017. [Slashfilm]
