SUPER MARIO Magnets Lets You Build Full Levels on Your Fridge

If you forget about the mushrooms in your fridge for too long, you might end up having to deal with a funky smell… but at least those mushrooms won’t start walking around trying to kill. You know, like if you you willingly invite some goombas into your kitchen, which you are going to do after seeing these very cool Mario magnets.

magnets-marioWe first learned about this collection, based on Nintendo‘s most iconic game, thanks to Gizmodo, and it comes from Paladone. Since they are a wholesaler, though, you’ll want to look elsewhere for your set, which seem to be available in the $9-10  range.

The entire collection includes 80 magnets depicting scenes and characters from the original Super Mario Bros. game. Included are “Mario and Luigi, mushrooms, turtles, flowers, coins,” as well as “level details such as brick platforms and sewer tunnels.” So yes, that means you can use your refrigerator to make your very own Mario Maker level.

This has the potential to not only be a fun way to decorate your kitchen in a manner that shows your commitment to video games, but to curb those late night cravings. In true Mario Maker fashion, design an impossible level on your fridge and challenge yourself to complete it before opening the door for a snack. You’ll wind up so angry you’ll forget you were even hungry in the first place.
