As was to be expected, HBO has been pulling out all the stops in the build-up to Game of Thrones‘ fourth season premiere. From endless teasers, to special featurettes, and even a George R.R. Martin-hosted art show, not a day goes by that GoT isn’t in the news. And we wouldn’t have it any other way. After the announcement of its existence only days ago, the Game of Thrones rap mixtape, Catch The Throne, has dropped online for streaming. Meaning: you can listen to it right here, right now!
Featuring the immeasurable talents of Big Boi (from OutKast), Wale, Common, and more, being a geek has never felt so bad ass. With several of the songs focusing on the show’s power politics, ruthless machinations, and bad ass characters (oh, hey: Khaleesi and Tyrion shout-outs) overlaid onto more than a few mash-ups of the series’ theme song, the mixtape is sure to make you feel like the most boss king in all of the Realm. Now let’s crank this shit up to eleven â it’s what any self-respecting Khaleesi would do.
Tracklisting:
1. Big Boi – “Mother of Dragons”
2. Magazeen – “Iron Throne”
3. Bodega Bamz – “Win or Die”
4. Kilo Kish – “Magical Reality”
5. Daddy Yankee – “Born to Rule”
6. Dominik Omega – “Arya’s Prayer”
7. Snow – “Fire”
8. Dee Goodz – “The Parallel”
9. Common – “Interlude/The Ladder”
10. Wale – “King Slayer”

Nah. Will pass.
Thanks tho’ for the(e) thought.
I really like GOT but these tracks are really bad and reminiscent of movie raps like Vanilla Ice w/ TMNT.
