On October 30, 2012, Disney officially purchased Lucasfilm and announced they would make a new trilogy of Star Wars sequels. Since then, fans have waited an awfully long time to return to the galaxy far, far away. How long? 1,140 days, which is 1,641,600 minutes, which is 98,496,000 seconds, to be exact. Although many fans will have to wait a few days more until the film makes its worldwide debut, tonight is the official Star Wars: The Force Awakens premiere in Los Angeles, CA.

The star-studded affair is bringing out Hollywood’s best and brightest, including The Force Awakens stars Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Oscar Isaac, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, and many more. But they aren’t the only ones who will be there on the red carpet — so will we! That’s right, Nerdist’s own Malik Forté and Kyle Hill will be hosting a Periscope livestream from the Star Wars premiere red carpet, and asking your questions in real time.

Disney and Lucasfilm are also hosting a Star Wars: The Force Awakens red carpet livestream on StarWars.com, which you can watch beginning at 5:30PM PT. But they won’t be asking your questions in real time, unless of course you happen to know a guy who knows a guy. If you have a question you’d like us to ask the cast, tweet it out with the hashtag #NerdistAwakens. Who knows? We may just ask it live on the red carpet!

How will you be seeing Star Wars: The Force Awakens? What would you ask the cast? Let’s discuss!
