Some fans love him, others hate him, but it’s undeniable that Kylo Ren was one of the most talked about characters to emerge from Star Wars The Force Awakens. You knew from the moment he stopped a blaster bolt in mid-air that this Dark Side warrior isn’t one to be trifled with. And you definitely don’t want to be in the room when he’s having one of his epic tantrums.
Now, Kylo fans will be able to take their photo with the Master of the Knights of Ren when the character joins his idol, Darth Vader, and Chewbacca at the Star Wars Launch Bay meet n’ greets at Disneyland and Disney Hollywood Studios. Although Kylo might want to avoid Chewie when roaming the parks. (Those of you who’ve seen the movie know what I’m talking about.) You’ll be able to pose with Kylo Ren on the bridge of his First Order Star Destroyer, just don’t ask him (or Vader) to Force-choke you. Silly as it seems, all use of the Dark Side is prohibited at Disney Parks.
Also said to possibly be joining Kylo Ren at the Disney parks is Captain Phasma, although that has yet to be confirmed. Cast members in both Kylo Ren and Phasma costumes were seen on the Disneyland 60th Anniversary float at the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena on New Year’s Day, so that is a pretty big hint. The new portal from Star Wars Launch Bay to Kylo Renâs Star Destroyer will open at Disneyland Park and at Disney Worldâs Hollywood Studios sometime in February 2016.
