Since the abrupt ending of Star Wars: The Clone Wars on Cartoon Network last season, fans have been left wondering what would happen to all the produced episodes of what would have been the show’s sixth season. Well, the answer is finally here, as Lucasfilm has announced that all 13 episodes of Clone War‘s sixth season, now called “The Lost Missions,” will come to Netflix on Friday, March 7th, as will all the previous five seasons of the show (and the original 2008 movie.) This is over one hundred episodes of content, and all in their uncut form not before seen on television.
Many mysteries left dangling from the end of the series are said to be resolved in these last episodes, including the mystery of the mental conditioning for the Clone Troopers that results in “Order 66” and the wiping out of the Jedi Order in Revenge of the Sith. One loose plot thread not being resolved on the show is the final fate of Darth Maul, which will be resolved in comic book form instead in May from Dark Horse Comics.

Ok you released in America why not Australia ?
Sam: It’s being released in Germany because the channel SuperRTL is half-owned by Disney, and has a distribution deal with CN. There were legal issues in determining a release method because CN still has exclusive TV broadcasting rights wherever they have a network, but Germany had a channel that served as a win-win. Everybody else has to see it through non-broadcast sources.
They’re releasing the episodes in German speaking countries on the 15th Feb.
Why German speaking? Why?
Now I just hope that they make it available in Australia…..
YESYESYESYESYES! I’ve been waiting for them to release these for forever now!
Impressive. Most impressive.
