The Star Wars product roll out continues and Force Friday toys and apparel are just the tip of the Hoth iceberg. This time our favorite Star Wars characters are invading our kitchens as Campbell’s has announced Star Wars-themed canned soup and SpaghettiOs set for release later this month.
These limited-edition cans feature Yoda, Chewbacca, a stormtrooper, and the droids you’re looking for: R2-D2 and C-3P0. Of course, Lord Vader has his very own soup can as well. Any bets on whether or not the Vader can has an extra dose of midi-chlorians?
The cans of soup are the same chicken soup recipe you know and love with the addition of Star Wars-shaped noodles. Personally I think shaped noodles make the soup taste better, even if most of the noodles end up looking like misshapen, scruffy-looking, nerf herders.
When you think about it, tasty canned goods would be a necessity in the Star Wars universe especially on dry, desert planets. All the better for you supply-wise if you live on a moisture farm.
If you’re hesitating on pre-packaged Star Wars goods, don’t forget Kraft released Star Wars Macaroni and Cheese earlier this year, thus ensuring you have the most perfect emergency ration kit in the galaxy.
If you think you’ve seen it all when it comes to Star Wars products just wait, we still have three and a half more months to go until The Force Awakens.
Will you be having Star Wars soup for lunch? Let us know in the comments!
