Fashion types do their best not to repeat the trends of their peers but sometimes, inevitably, these things happen. Following the appearance of Luke Skywalker, the Death Star, and Yoda on the runway of Rodarte during New York Fashion Week, Darth Vader and a bevy of Storm Troopers have made their way across the pond to play during London Fashion Week. Fun and funky label Preen not only had Darth Daddy’s face plastered on several of their thoroughly modern and utterly cool clothes, but Storm Troopers were also in attendance, guiding fashion’s finest to their front row seats. Is this Star Wars or Couture Wars? Watch video from the show here and decide for yourself.
“You are urban â you are a warrior! You are a hot sci-fi geek! No stopping! No swinging arms! Have a great show! Love, Preen,” read a sign caught by Daily Mail writer Bianca London, seemingly as an instruction for the models walking in their bold, graphic designs.

Guess it’s safe to say that geek chic is the new black. Which interpretation do you prefer? Let us know in the comments!
My favorite piece out of all of these Star Wars runway looks has to be the Death Star ensemble, that one genuinely wowed me. The rest are kind of okay, but for the most part I just can’t get over the unfortunate placement of C3PO’s head, Luke isn’t placed much better either.
