When the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII was revealed back in April, a photo accompanied the announcement showing director J.J. Abrams seated with several of the film’s stars including Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and newcomers John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Daisy Ridley, Andy Serkis, Adam Driver, and more. That photo has become so famous that it’s basically taken on a life of its own and now tiny brick toymaker LEGO has recreated the now-famous image using little LEGO figurines.
Revealed on their Twitter, LEGO has reimagined the cast with slight modifications such as some of the cast being represented as their Star Wars characters. We even get Andy Serkis holding a tiny ring as a nod to his little precious role in The Lord of The Rings.
Take a closer look at both images below:
It’s pretty neat to see Mark Hamill as Luke with his lightsaber and Peter Mayhew as Chewbacca. We also get the slave Leia LEGO version in place of Carrie Fisher. What other fun easter eggs can you spot in LEGO’s recreation of the photo? Tell us in the comments below.
Star Wars: Episode VII is set to release December 18, 2015
