Just cause she’s British don’t mean she’s bad, Chobot.
Casting was way cool to see. What no Mortal Kombat theme rights? Its still a big ass troll.
I LOVE that the new Star Wars is going with so many practical effects. It’s definitely the right move.
I think these two ladies are a great addition to the cast for the new Star Wars movie. But the cast is still lacking diversity which might be ok for just “the next movie” but which also might be a great missed opportunity for a franchise that big as Star Wars. 😉
Great show btw
What sort of diversity would you like to see in the cast?
Also, they’re listening to their fans, who have asked for more female characters in the movie / series 🙂
Well, how about ethnicities? I think Star Wars as a global franchise could feature Asian, Indian and Southern American actors as well. Sure, it’s an Amercian production but even Star Trek featured different ethnicities some 50 years ago. It’s somehow weird to imagine a future of mankind in which mostly white males sit at the table with extraterrestrians/aliens… 😉
Star Wars is not about “the future of mankind” it took place “A Long Time Ago” and I feel bad even saying this, “In a galaxy far far away.” I think you are confusing it with Star Trek, which is about about the future of mankind and does a great job portraying the diversity of humanity. I do agree that there is a place in any film for actors of all races, but it is by no means mandated by the franchise. And that is why you fail.
they didn’t just add these women, they just didn’t have the roles cast yet.
