STAR WARS’ Daisy Ridley Raps and Demonstrates Lightsaber Skills in Charming Interview

Daisy Ridley showed the entire world she was everything we’d ever want in a Star Wars hero in The Force Awakens, but since then she’s somehow managed to outdo that by proving to be the most charming person alive, in both this galaxy and the one far, far away. And as if we needed any more evidence of that, this video of her answering 73 questions in quick succession is a reminder of why she is the most delightful person we know.

In this video from Vogue, Ridley answers a wide-ranging array of questions one after the other, from her favorite color, to what she likes (and hates) most about being famous, to her favorite foods, to what Judi Dench is like in person, to how cool Oscar Isaac really is (spoiler alert: as cool as we think), and of course a whole bunch of queries on Star Wars.

But because she really is the absolute best, she also was willing to prove she is as strong as she claims, rapped some old school Eminem, spoke Japanese, shared her go-to dance move, gave some quality life advice, and showed off her best lightsaber technique.

Of course, no one is perfect, no matter how close she comes. That’s because even someone as delightful and eminently likable Daisy Ridley has a major, terrible flaw: she doesn’t speak Shyriiwook, the language of the Wookiees. You’d think since she speaks multiple languages already she would try and master her new shipmate’s home world language, but alas, she hasn’t.

….Okay, we’re really reaching. Especially since she does understand. Which is–of course–perfectly charming. What else would we expect from her?

Is there anyone more delightful than Daisy Ridley? Who comes close? Tell us who you’d compare her to in the comments below.
