Maria Bamford Is the Nurse from Hell in This STAN AGAINST EVIL Clip (Exclusive)

Stan Against Evil, the critically acclaimed comedy/horror series that airs on IFC, has gained quite the following since its 2016 premiere. The show, now in its third season, is set in a small New Hampshire town of Willard’s Mill, which just so happens to be built upon the grounds of a giant witch burning. Uh-oh.

The town is being haunted by demons and all sorts of other supernatural things, and they all hate the authorities who they feel are responsible for their original destruction. Enter Stan Miller, the town’s former sheriff, who teams up with the new sheriff to defend the town from all supernatural evil.

In the third season’s penultimate episode, titled “Intensive Scare Unit,” Stan (John C. McGinley) goes to the hospital for a routine prostate exam, but unsurprisingly, he must find a way to escape once the hospital itself turns demonic. What is sure to be the coolest part of this episode is the fact that comedian and voice actress Maria Bamford is guest starring as a demented (or maybe possessed?) nurse. You can check out an exclusive clip of Bamford’s guest spot above.

The “Intensive Scare Unit” episode of Stan Against Evil airs on Wednesday, November 21 at 10PM ET/PT, followed by the third season finale at 10:30PM. In the finale, the demon called Haurus demands that Stan kill Sheriff Evie Barrett (Janet Varney) in return for killing Constable Eccles and ending the curse on the town of Willard’s Mill. When another demon tells Stan how to kill Haurus, will he follow through, or does Stan believe it all comes at too high a cost?
