To (social) me(dia), my X-Men! That’s right, you mutie lovers, 20th Century Fox has released another quick-cut teaser for Bryan Singer’s forthcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past on the official @XMenMovies Instagram account.
The clip’s caption promises a big Days of Future Past-related reveal on Monday, January 27th, but for now, we’ll have to settle for roughly seven seconds of new footage that focuses heavily on the returning cast of X-Men: First Class. Young Nazi huntin’ Magneto (Michael Fassbender), bearded Xavier (James McAvoy), Mystique disguised as the wife from American Hustle (Jennifer Lawrence), Iceman (Shawn Ashmore) standing tall with Magneto the Elder (Ian McKellen), Warpath (Booboo Stewart) and Blink (Fan Bingbing), and an underwater Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) can all be seen in the teaser. It doesn’t tell us much, but it is going a long way towards getting me excited for the film. At least moreso than Bishop’s apparent decision to model his wardrobe after the Black Eyed Peas. X-Men: Days of Future Past opens on May 23, 2014, but by our count, you’ll have seen roughly 75% of the film through Instagram, Vines, and Bryan Singer’s Twitter by that point.

lol Rogue, too bad her only scene got cut out of the film. This movie is going to be a disaster. I hope it’s at least a fun disaster.
