Sneaky Zebra Shows Us It’s Always Sunny on Tatooine

Our friends Nick and Gary from Sneaky Zebra are very good at making Star Wars parodies. They’ve done a lot of them on their channel, about everything from presidential campaigns to comparing the Death Star to an Apple product. Now, they’ve gone and done maybe their most spot-on tribute to date: mixing the SW universe with It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

In a scene parodying the iconic “Pepe Silvia Conspiracy” from the Season 4 episode “Sweet Dee Has a Heart Attack,” two stormtroopers fret about not being able to find the droids they’re looking for. One goes a bit crazier than the other. Props for the use of “Doo-Bow-Bow.” This sketch was shot entirely on the Mos Eisley Cantina set located within in Nerdist Industries, which you may have seen in the star-studded Sing-Along in the Cantina.

  1. FEZ says:

If you had to classify the genre I guess you would call it comedy yet you can watch the whole thing and not crack a smile. This clip proves there should be a separate genre for unfunny comedy. I think the genre should be called “UNFUNNY” with this parody used as a classic example of what is UNFUNNY.

  2. Kristoffer says:

the guy playing Charlie wasn’t crazy enough, and i don’t think the jokes crossed that well with Star Wars.

Pepe Silvia vs Darth Vadar? Pepe Silvia is funnier, especially given Day’s performance.

i’ve got boxes full of pepe

  3. Blake says:

I found this clever, but I was hoping for laughing out loud. Maybe I’m too jaded. Or maybe the scene isn’t right, I dunno. I “liked” it?
