Right up next to Morgan Freeman and Ron Pearlman on the people who I’d let talk nonsense into my ear without giving a damn list is Sir Patrick Stewart. Professor… ahem, I mean Captain… err… Stewart is set to play Zobek in the upcoming game, Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow 2. If you played the first game and saw the secret ending, you may remember these words from Stewart’s character in this new trailer, in which he partly narrates before the entire cast is introduced over the tune of an intense symphony orchestra.

Developer MercurySteam certainly seems to be going all out with the narrative to close out this arc of the Castlevania series. I’d say to keep your eyes on this one, as it’ll probably be the last great hack-and-slash title of the 360/PS3 era. Lords Of Shadow is due in stores on February 25 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC platforms here in North America.
