Sir Ben Kingsley and Peter Capaldi, Paul Rudd Talks Ant-Man, and More

Were you there Saturday night? You’ll be there with the Nerdist Podcast Network when we bring you last night’s early San Diego Comic-Con Nerdist Podcast taping with Sir Ben Kingsley and Peter Capaldi at the Balboa Theatre. You’ve heard of those guys, I imagine. I hear it was… awesome, actually. We’ll get it in all its glory this week.

Oh, and we’ll have some guy named Paul Rudd on the Nerdist Podcast, too. You might… okay, enough false modesty. Ant-Man! Brian Fantana! Bobby Newport on Parks and Recreation! He and Chris talk about fathers, the press, acting, and more.

If that’s not enough, how about Chad Coleman on the Nerdist Podcast? Tyreese (R.I.P.) on The Walking Dead, Cutty on The Wire… Chris and Chad talk about Chad’s career path (which was not at all easy), making music videos for the military, acting, parenting, and his trans-media series Tread Water, which spreads a story across all kinds of platforms.

If you’ve never heard of James Fauntleroy, you’ve probably heard his music. Let’s see…. Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, Ciara, Chris Brown… and he’s done guest vocals with Kanye and Drake and Jay-Z and won a Grammy and, yeah, he’s a big deal. And he’ll be on The Mutant Season this week, talking to Gil about all that he does.

But let’s not assume that you need a big-time guest for a great podcast. The Indoor Kids were at San Diego Comic-Con, and they took a recorder with them, observing and reporting. Hear what Kumail and Emily saw and did on this week’s episode.

And more, of course. Go to the Nerdist Podcast Network homepage, subscribe to ’em all, and hit the Nerdist Podcast Network Facebook page to make sure you don’t miss any of it. Gonna be good….
