Sideshow’s Bale Batman Bust is Watching You

Still not over Ben Affleck taking over the cape and the cowl in the DC movie universe? Want to imagine Christian Bale whisper-barking your favorite lines from the Nolan-verse trilogy?

Well you’re in luck, thanks to Sideshow Collectibles’ “Batman Life-Size Bust,” which is available now for pre-order. The bust features Bale’s brooding mug, head cocked to the side – listening for clues, perhaps – bedecked in his Bat-armor in a cloth cape. It’s people-sized so expect to be slightly startled when you walk into your home and find it staring at you in the dark.

I kid – kind of. But if you’re a huge fan of the Nolan movies and Bale’s performance as Batman, Sideshow is selling the bust for $689.99 with a planned April 2015 release. If you can’t pony up that much now, you can simply put down a 10% deposit.

From DC’s product page:

“A Silent guardian, a watchful protector, a Dark Knight.

You wanted him, now here he is! Celebrating the second chapter of Christopher Nolan’s outstanding film trilogy, Sideshow Collectibles is proud to present the Batman Dark Knight Life-Size Bust.

Towering over two feet tall, this magnificent lifelike bust perfectly captures Christian Bale as the masked hero ready to face off against the Joker and the rising anarchy that threatens Gotham City. To shield his identity and protect those he loves, Bruce Wayne returns with a new and improved Batsuit, authentically recreated with distinctive armored plating and a tailored fabric cape. Displayed on a themed base that echoes the iconic aesthetic of the Batmobile, the Batman Dark Knight Life-Size Bust is truly the hero you deserve.”
