Robin Wilson-Beattie is a nationally recognised self and systems disability advocate. Her mission is to create dialogue and educate others about discovering and embracing their sexuality, regardless of abilities. Robin would like to teach the world to see that a closed mind is the only limiting factor to safe, sane, consensual, adaptive enjoyable sex. Robin is available for speaking, public appearances, workshops, classes, and one-on-one consultations. She is working towards launching an upcoming line of products that embody disability and sexual pride.
She is a member of the Association of American Sexual Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT). She has been involved in sexuality education and awareness since high school. After acquiring a physical disability, she began in 2008 speaking on sexuality and disability topics and issues. Robin has done presentations and speeches at conferences, medical schools, and disability organizations. She also consults with individuals and organizations on issues of adaptive sexual support. Robin is an Ambassador for the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, and a self-identified Sex Geek, who happens to be one of the world’s experts on topics of BDSM (Bondage, Domination, and Sadomasochism). She is an alumnae of Sex Geek Summer Camp, a business retreat for sexuality educators and professionals.
