Adam Rogers is the Articles Editor at Wired. Rogers was a writer and on-air correspondent for the television show Wired Science, and his feature story “The Angels’ Share” won the 2011 AAAS Kavli Science Journalism Award.

Rogers joined Wired in 2003; prior to that he was a reporter for Newsweek, covering science and technology in New York and the Washington, DC bureau. He also reported for Newsweek’s special campaign issue on the 2000 presidential race. Rogers has also written for Smithsonian, Slate, the Atlantic’s web site, and the New York Times.

A native of Los Angeles, Rogers attended Pomona College and has a graduate degree in science writing from Boston University. In 2002-2003 he was a Knight Science Journalism Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He lives with his family in Berkeley.

Attorney Allan B. Gelbard, Esq. is an active First Amendment, Intellectual Property, and Entertainment attorney in Encino, California. Since opening his practice in 1996, Mr. Gelbard has represented clients in all areas of the adult entertainment industry including obscenity charges, copyright and trademark infringement and protecting the identities of adult entertainment industry customers.

Allan also supports the First Amendment outside of the courtroom. Working for the Free Speech Coalition, he penned proposed legislation to protect privacy rights and small businesses.  One proposal pertaining to seized business records became law in California in 2004.  Allan also frequently speaks on industry panels, and has been featured in periodicals ranging from Wired Magazine and X-Biz to the Los Angeles Times.
