Can’t imagine standing in front of an audience and speaking extemporaneously and being funny at the same time? A lot of people can’t, but Troy Conradâs Set List over at the Nerdist channel gets people to do just that, and you should be watching if only to see extremely talented comics succeed. In his set, Irish comedian Colin Murphy successfully navigated Facebook, gay bars, the Irish language and more at the Galway Comedy Festival. With credits from Edinburgh Fringe, Just for Laughs, and as creator and host of The Blizzard of Odd, it’s no surprise that he knows how to work a crowd.
Rolling with the unexpected works well for Murphy and nothing seems to phase him even when he isn’t sure what the words on the screen mean. Watch Colin seamlessly work the room and have fun with the unexpected in the video above.
