The recognizable opening of Game of Thrones just got a makeover, as Moleskine commemorates the premiere of the sixth season with their own version of the riveting title sequence.
Westeros comes to life as a paper version of Kingâs Landing is recreated with more than 7,600 individual paper cutouts, complete with turning cogs and gears. Delicate turrets and spires magically start to move until the fortress retreats, leaving you with a peek of the new Game of Thrones Limited Edition Collection notebooks from Moleskine.

Designed by Levente Szabò, the notebooks give homage to the Stark, Lannister, and Targaryen families, and are also available with a collectorâs edition box featuring the Iron Throne. A Targaryen offering made of paper seems like a dangerous one. Those house dragons have awfully fiery tempers.
A Lannister always pays his debts, and these hardcover notebooks are a good place to keep track of who is on your side. Considering how much betrayal there is in the show, itâs a good thing the notebooks come in several sizes and styles. This Limited Edition collection also includes stickers and a paper banderole featuring the genealogical tree of the show’s three central families.
Video and animation studio Dadomani created the inspired paper opening sequence, made even more exciting with the addition of music from the show. Game of Thrones is about epic storytelling, and these notebooks will provide with you with plenty of room to take notes on the show or write you own inspirational fanfic… which might go something like this: Hodor hodor, hodor hodor hodor. Hodor!
The Game of Thrones Limited Edition Collection is available online at moleskine.com and at Moleskine stores worldwide.
