See M. Night Shyamalan’s THE VISIT at SDCC!

In M. Night Shyamalan’s latest film, The Visit, a pair of kids is sent to visit their grandparents on their remote farm for a seemingly innocent getaway. But as we know from the director’s previous films, all cannot be as it seems. So far, the trailers released for The Visit evoke an intriguing combo of a middle-of-nowhere, can’t-escape thriller, and the prickly, uneasy strangeness of Blumhouse Productions’ signature style. We’ve been waiting to see what twists and turns this new horror flick holds, and now, if you’re heading down to San Diego Comic-Con with us, you’ll have a chance to see it early!

This Thursday, July 9 at 1:30pm, M. Night Shyamalan will be heading to our Conival stage at Petco Park for an interview with our resident horror expert, Clarke Wolfe. While the two discuss The Visit, the state of horror, and the director’s career, we’ll be handing out 300 tickets for a Nerdist screening of the film later that night! Nerdist fans with those tickets will be let into the theater before anyone else, so make sure you get your hands on one faster than you can say “Grandma’s house.”

The SDCC screening of The Visit starts at 7:30pm sharp at the Reading Cinemas Gaslamp, located at 701 5th Ave in San Diego, CA. Hope we see you there!

The Visit premieres September 11, 2015.
