The new, exceedingly NSFW red band trailer for Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse promises that even though its heroes might be high school-aged members of the Boy Scout community, they will not be intimidated when facing horrifying creatures, handling large weapons, or being seen walking around wearing a neckerchief. Because when the fate of their small town is endangered by ravenous zombies, they’ll do whatever it takes to stop the — though with a little less urgency when that zombie is nude and particularly buxom.
The extremely NSFW trailer shows our soon-to-be saviors being shut out from the big secret party happening that night. When something in town is clearly wrong, they do what all good heroes do: go to the strip club. From there we get zombie strippers, zombie bouncers, and, in a move after the heart of our own editor-in-chief, Rachel Heine, zombie cats. Yeah that’s right, zombie cats. (I smell sequel).
The boys are joined on their quest by a badass, shotgun-wielding heroine–a cocktail waitress from the strip club–and they’ll have to work together in order to survive what appears to be a movie with lots of gore and gratuitous shots of zombies’ heads exploding.
The movie opens on October 30, just in time for Halloween. Based on this trailer, it might not be a great holiday movie for kids, but it should be a real good one for the rest of us.
