Ryan Reynolds Guests as Deadpool in LOGAN’s Honest Trailer

Well, the time has finally come: you can buy your very own copy of Logan and add it to your shelf devoted only to movies in the X-Men universe (everyone has those, right?) In honor of the film being released, the folks over at Screen Junkies just couldn’t resist giving it their Honest Trailer treatment!

It’s always pretty special when a YouTube series achieves a milestone like their 200th episode and even more-so when a celebrity like Ryan Reynolds is willing to participate in such an epic fashion. While the majority of the video is played for laughs, there’s something fitting about Deadpool chiming in to bid farewell to Jackman’s final appearance as the cantankerous clawed Canuck.

As proof that Logan was a fantastic movie, the Epic Voice Guy (Jon Bailey) has to enlist Deadpool’s help because he’s having some trouble finding much of anything to ridicule. And beyond the production value of that cellphone video of X-23’s facility, there really isn’t much to poke fun at. Deadpool is even hard-pressed to take a shot at his man crush Hugh Jackman even going so far as to hope his portrayal of Logan earns him an Oscar nomination. He also fully endorses the idea of James Mangold directing “Old Man Deadpool” a few decades from now. We’re totally down for that as long as Deadpool’s idea of “space diapers” gets cut from the script.

As far as we’re concerned, the Screen Junkies team knocked their 200th Honest Trailer out of the park even if there really wasn’t much to make fun of. Well, they were on to something with all the film’s yelling. Seeing it all cut together makes us wonder how much of the film’s budget when to lozenges.

What’s your favorite Honest Trailer? Let’s discuss in the comments below!
