Rumor: Tarantino’s THE HATEFUL EIGHT Will Shoot in November

It’s been a long and bumpy road thus far for Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight. Things got really bad a few months ago following a script leak that lead to an attempted law-suit against Gawker, so bad that for a while Tarantino had flat out scrapped the idea of shooting the film. Much of that thought process seemed to change, however, following a live reading in front of a crowd earlier this year. Now, according a report from Showbiz 411, the film is not only set to go, but it will begin shooting in November.

According to the outlet’s sources, production will take place in Wyoming and the cast will include the actors involved in the live read including: Samuel L. Jackson, Bruce Dern, Michael Madsen, Kurt Russell, James Remar, Amber Tamblyn, Walton Goggins and Zoe Bell. The plot of the western, according to IMDB, is as follows: bounty hunters seek shelter from a raging blizzard and get caught up in a plot of betrayal and deception.

Many have wondered what the next Taratino work was going to be following the adored Django Unchained, which is rumored to be having a bit of a renaissance itself. While it would be nice to see the man return to a modern-day setting for a film, The Hateful Eight sounds like classic Quentin, which is totally fine with us.

Are you excited for The Hateful Eight? Do you like the cast that’s been chosen? Are you really excited to see a new movie with Walton Goggins? Let us know in the comments below!
