ROGUE ONE Trailer Set to the Beastie Boys’ “Sabotage” Has Us Ready to Join the Rebellion

Is an evil Galactic Empire oppressing you and spreading darkness throughout the galaxy far, far away? Are they currently working on a super weapon of untold power and destruction, one they will soon unleash upon millions of innocent lives? And are you just a small, ragtag group of rebels facing impossible odds in trying to stop them and it?

If so, there’s only one way to fight back, and I’m tellin’ y’all, it’s a sabotage.

That’s really what Jyn Erso and the rest of her rebel crew will be up to in the Star Wars anthology film Rogue One, which will follow how the Alliance managed to steal the plans for the (original) Death Star. Appropriately, we’ve gotten this fan-made trailer for the movie, set to the classic and kickass Beastie Boys hit “Sabotage.” It’s about as perfect a pairing of story and song as you can get.

I’ve watched this high-octane, super charged trailer, made by YouTube user Matthew Longua, five times now, and as a result I’m willing to help fight back against the Empire myself. Though I do feel like if I join I should probably make sure I grow a giant, cartoon cop-style mustache first.

Like this guy in the trailer.

Oh he gets it.

We have to wait until December 16 for Rogue One to hit theaters (That long a wait? I can’t stand it; I mean talk about a thorn in my side), so thankfully the fan trailers are starting to come in and help pass the time. But until the next one comes I’m just gonna keep this one on and on.

What other songs would work for a Rogue One trailer? Don’t rebel against our comments section, tell us what you think below.

As for real trailers for Rogue One, here’s what we learned from the latest…
