The Internet has enabled a lot of people to do a lot of things, but I bet that making 1995-style intros for 2013 TV dramas was not in the minds of the folks who developed the technology. Nevertheless, here’s YouTube user goestoeleven reimagining the opening credits for Breaking Bad (above) and The Walking Dead (below) as if they were on The WB or UPN back in the day. (The fact that people are nostalgic for 1995 is… interesting.) I KNEW there was a warm family dramedy lurking in Walter White’s household, with a Foreigner soundtrack, no less. Kinda like Seventh Heaven with meth and murder. Which, come to think of it, would have made Seventh Heaven WAY more interesting.
Oh, and while we’re at it, how about VKMTV’s mashup of Workaholics with the Saved by the Bell opening credits?:
Needs more Screech.

This 80s sitcom “Walking Dead” intro is so perfect in every way.
