Report: FALLOUT 4 Trailer to Be Produced by Guillermo del Toro’s Movie Studio

We already knew that the probability of seeing Fallout 4 at E3 this year was fairly high, but what about having the reveal happen by way of a Fallout 4 cinematic trailer developed by Guillermo del Toro’s studio? This may not be too far-fetched. The rumors started flying after VideoGamer spotted the LinkedIn profile of a 3D artist contracted to work on the supposed trailer:

As you can see above, the 3D artist was hired by Mirada Studios to produce a Fallout 4 cinematic trailer. Mirada Studios, which is based out of Los Angeles, is a studio founded by Hollywood powerhouses Guillermo del Toro, Javier Jiminez, Matthew Cullen, and Guillermo Navarro, in the latter part of 2010. The studio has been a part of a number of projects, ranging from Katy Perry’s Dark Horse video to the prologue for Pacific Rim. Previous video game projects include an advert for Nintendo’s Mario Kart 8 last year.

While this doesn’t mean that Guillermo del Toro will have any direct involvement with Fallout 4, it does more or less confirm the existence of the game. Let’s hope that Mirada Studios’ project is exactly what we’re going to be seeing next month at Bethesda’s E3 showcase. The press conference is set to kick off E3 festivities on June 14, and I’ll be leaving there rather disappointed if Fallout 4 isn’t amongst the publisher’s big announcements that evening. Yet another E3 secret that surfaced on the web prematurely. Good sleuthing once again, internet!
