Reasons to Be Scared of the Future

REASONS TO BE SCARED OF THE FUTURE: Skynet

So far, Rhys Darby has given us plenty of reasons to live in abject fear of crazed supercomputers and jellyfish. Surely there can’t be anything else to hold our fragile psyches in the icy grip of terror, right? Wrong. Remember Terminator? Remember Terminator 2: Judgment Day? Remember Chris Hardwick as Engineer #2 in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines? Well, that last one was just for fun. The point is, you should be scared silly by the prospect of Skynet, the military computer system designed by Cyberdyne Systems that gained self-awareness and launched an all out nuclear robot war on humanity, and Rhys is here to tell you why in a brand new episode of Reasons to be Scared of the Future!

What do you think? Are you terrified of Skynet yet? Let us know in the comments below!

  3. You really make it seem so easy along with your presentation but I find this topic to be actually one thing which
I think I might never understand. It kind of feels too complex and
very broad for me. I’m looking ahead to your next publish, I’ll attempt to get the hold of it!

  4. Woah! I’m really loving the template/theme of this site.
It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s hard to get that “perfect balance”
between usability and visual appeal. I must say that you’ve done a excellent job with this.
Additionally, the blog loads super quick for me on Firefox.
    Excellent Blog!
