Quentin Tarantino, Kathleen Kennedy, Bill Burr: Upcoming Podcasts

Sunday is our day of rest at the Nerdist Podcast Network. Katie’s off keeping tabs on her fantasy football team, Aristotle’s… well, I don’t know what he’s up to. And I’m watching the Eagles play and by the time you read this, you’ll know if that went well or whether I threw things at the TV set. But before I do that, I have a quick heads-up on a few shows we’ll be posting this week, and you’re going to want to listen to all of them.

How about Quentin Tarantino on the Nerdist Podcast? The man himself will be talking about how his career took off from indie success to mass market, his revival theater in L.A. (including a discussion about the great and underappreciated “Used Cars”), and his creative process. His latest, The Hateful 8, is coming in limited release on Christmas Day and in wide release on January 8th.

How about Bill Burr returning to the Nerdist Podcast? The brilliant comedian talks about the Boston comedy scene, the Patriots, Star Wars, and helicopters. He’s got a new Netflix series F is for Family, launching December 18th.

How about Kathleen Kennedy on the Nerdist Podcast? I haven’t heard the tape yet, but I’m guessing she talks about that project she has coming out, that thing about Stars and Wars and some such. I mean, even without Star Wars: The Force OMG I CAN’T WAIT, she has one of the most incredible resumés in Hollywood, so, yeah, must-listen. Listen while you wait a week to get into the first showing.

And how about a FOURTH Nerdist Podcast with Alex Winter returning to talk about his latest documentary The Deep Web, about Bitcoin and The Silk Road, and the dangers of telling the story. Oh, and, yeah, there’s some Bill and Ted news which you will want to hear, and some talk about his next project, which focuses on one of the more interesting musical legends.

Oh, and I believe we’ll have another double-dose of You Made it Weird this week, but you’ll have to wait to find out who keeps it crispy with Pete. And the requisite More, of course, but the easiest way to know what “More” will bring is to go to the Nerdist Podcast Network homepage and Facebook page, where we’ll have everything for you. See you over there….
