Quantifying All Our Disney Pixar Emotions

Have you seen Inside Out yet? Did you cry buckets like the rest of us? How about when Andy said goodbye to Woody? How about pretty much anything involving Boo or Jack Jack? The excellent folks at Oh My Disney! feel exactly the same way, and this week they shared a collection of all the major feels that a Disney Pixar movie can inspire in a person in honor of their new film.

From the music that makes your heart sing (yes I’m getting cheesy), to the moments that make you gasp with fear, Disney Pixar just has a way of completely messing with your emotions. I know I’m not immune to it, and I’m willing to bet you aren’t either. The very real importance of connecting with and understanding your emotions isn’t undercut by Disney’s cute graphics or adorable characters. Those elements actually make me feel like I can identify more with fictional stories and characters that only live in pixelated surfaces. The bright color schemes of the art directors and designers also inspire the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. Who didn’t feel a moment of pity for the bad guy when Randall’s camouflage skill was put through the ringer in Monsters Inc. after all?

Do these graphs truly represent your point of view? Take a second and look through these great graphs and tell me in the comments below about the moments from Disney Pixar movies that make you feel all the feels. I’ll just be over here, watching The Incredibles again and maybe crying on occasion.
