With Deadpool opening this Friday (You can read Luke Y. Thompson’s review here), the already insane marketing blitz has gone into overdrive. They want everyone to see Deadpool SO bad, that they’ve gone so far as to spoil his cameo appearance in this summer’s X-Men: Apocalypse. Olivia Munn has taken to her Instagram and has treated fans to a small taste of what to expect.
If the action sequences in either movie are as epic and fast paced as what we just witnessed, then the X-Universe is going to rule 2016.
In all honesty, this post encapsulates in just a few seconds how both actors feel about their characters. If you follow Ryan Reynolds on Twitter (@VancityReynolds), you know that he’s just as goofy as the Merc with the Mouth. Olivia has been posting videos of her Psylocke training for some time now. Deadpool opens in theaters February 12 and X-Men Apocalypse opens May 27.
