Premiere: Seaway’s ‘Growing Stale’ is a Pop Punk Gem

If you like a bit of punk with your pop music, then allow us to introduce Seaway. These five friends from Canada create music that gets you up and ready to go, even if you don’t have any plans. This boundless energy shines through in every song, complimented by tongue-in-cheek lyrics that invite you on an insanely fun, no-strings-attached adventure with an intriguing mix of young personalities.

Sound like something you might be into? Well, we’re super pleased to announce that Seaway’s sophomore album, Color Blind, will release on October 23 via Pure Noise Records. And to get you in the mood to groove with the guys, we’ve got a track from the record right here, titled “Growing Stale” (something I don’t foresee happening to this band).

If you like what you hear, you can pre-order Color Blind via iTunes. Seaway will join Knuckle Puck, Sorority Noise and Head North on tour this fall, so be sure to check out the dates; you can bet that their live show is killer. Keep up with them on Twitter (@seawayband), and give us a a holler as well (@NerdistMusic)

What do you think of “Growing Stale”? Do you dig Seaway’s sound? Hit us up in the comments below.
