Regarding the upcoming Pokémon: Let’s Go games for the Nintendo Switch, it seems a fair generalization to make is that it’s a different game than its predecessors, since it seems to be a less intense or detailed experience as the core RPG series. This has some fans of the classic challenges they’ve come to expect of the years up in arms, but there’s an important fact to remember: Let’s Go isn’t replacing the main line of games. There’s still a new core Pokémon game coming to the Switch in 2019.
With that in mind, now we can all enjoy Let’s Go for what it is: A slightly simplified Pokémon title that will be an accessible entry point to the series for the less experienced players among us, and a fun game that both retains core elements while making some neat changes. For instance, your Pokémon (or at least your Pikachu or Eevee) will be able to sport a variety of different accessories, adding a level of customization to the games that hasn’t been seen before (unless you’re into the rigors of EV training, which again, Let’s Go isn’t about). You can also give your trainer a variety of looks, since there are a multitude of outfits to choose from.
Is Eevee trying to give you a high five? Or maybe itâs just trying to show off its adorable new look with these accessories! #PokemonLetsGo https://t.co/gMlW6oKaqT pic.twitter.com/CivPh4eluQ
