Become the ultimate Pokémon Go master this July!
Back in September, The Pokémon Company shocked fans everywhere by announcing the mobile game, Pokémon GOâand we’ve been chomping at the bit for more details about it ever since. Considering the success of the highly addictive Pokémon Shuffle, the thought of another on-the-go title featuring our favorite pocket monsters is enticing to say the least. Since the announcement, we’ve learned a bit more about the game, like the fact that it involves players taking their phones out into the real world to catch wild pokémon, and battle with other players. Plus, we even got our hands on the beta. With the E3 festivities kicked into high gear this week, Nintendo finally announced that the game will be available on iOS and Android devices this July.
Unfortunately, we don’t have an actual date at the moment, but knowing that it’s coming soon is a good sign. In addition to the release date, the company also revealed that the wearable accessory, Pokémon Go Plus, will retail for $34.99. Though only drawback is that the device won’t be available on launch. Considering the bluetooth-enabled bracelet/watch is a peripheral that only enhances the experience; it flashes and vibrates when pokémon are near, and allows players to perform simple actions like catching a creature at the push of a button; the delay isn’t that big of a deal.
