Play as the Ladies of THE WITCHER 3 with New Mod

You won’t find too many avid gamers who don’t like Geralt of Rivia and his everlasting beard, but let’s not forget the incredibly powerful female characters around him. A new mod from Nexus Mods user, ParKan11, allows Witcher 3 players to experience the whole game as either Triss, Yennefer, Ciri, or Shani instead of the bearded one. Unfortunately, the mod only swaps out the character design, so, the voice acting and animations stay the same. (Maybe pretend everybody’s in disguise?)

Peep the clip above, which was recently posted on YouTube, for a better look at how the mod changes the gameplay once it has been installed.

If anything, this actually makes the game pretty hilarious. Hearing Geralt’s gravelly voice coming out of Triss’ (or any of the other ladies for that matter) mouth is certainly strange. This could also add an interesting twist to the adventure for those looking to restart. Just keep in mind that some of the DLC armor sets aren’t compatible with this mod.

Another win for the PC master race.

As I’m sure you’re well aware, PC ports haven’t had the best year, with the whole Batman: Arkham Knight debacle of most note, but mods for open world games keep getting more impressive these days, which is great to see. Consequently, the community is giving these already massive epics a much longer life. I fully expect for more console developers to start allowing mods to be ported onto their games like Bethesda is going to do so with Fallout 4 on the Xbox One and PS4. It just makes too much sense.

What do you guys think about this new mod? Will you be downloading it? Let us know in the comments below.
