Without doubt, one of the best and most unsung directors in Hollywood is Joe Dante, the man behind such genre classics as The Howling, Gremlins, The ‘Burbs, Matinee, and many others. His newest movie is the “zom com,” Burying the Ex, about a guy who’s afraid to break up with his hot but crazy girlfriend and gets to avoid the whole situation when she suddenly dies. He moves on and begins dating a new, much nicer girl, but things start to go bad when the dead ex rises from the grave to get back her man.
This film is already in production, with a cast including Anton Yelchin, Ashley Greene, and Alexandra Daddario, but that doesn’t mean they don’t need our help in getting funding. Through FundAnything, Burying the Ex is looking for a relatively measly $200,000 to get the movie edited, add visual effects, and make sure it makes it to cinemas for us all to enjoy.
The campaign is offering a whole heap-ton of rewards for various amounts donated that range from T-shirts, Blu-rays, and posters, to credit in the film, screenings with Q&As, and even set visits and VIP parties for the most generous out there. This just started, so there’s still a Lenten-season left (40 days… it’s biblical), but maybe if this gets funded quickly, more awesome Dante stuff will come our way.
Remarkable! Its in fact amazing paragraph, I have got much clear idea on the
topic of from this paragraph.
I will support ANYTHING Joe “trailers from hell” Dante offers
