Paul Rust Shares On-Set Photos from LOVE Season 2

The first season of Love—the Netflix series created by Judd Apatow, Paul Rust, and Lesley Arfin—premiered on February 19 and, to put it in the simplest and most immediately obvious way possible, we fell in love. So imagine our joy when Rust, who also stars in the series, agreed to do a Twitter Takeover of @nerdist! This all went down yesterday, and it was a lot of fun for all.

Last month we learned that the show was renewed for a second season, just a few days after its premiere. The first post of our Twitter Takeover, above, was Rust announcing that yesterday was the first day of shooting that second season, and that makes us glad that Netflix had faith in the program from the get-go. Over the course of the next few tweets, Rust shared a bevy of set photos, including scripts being refined in the writers’ room, table reads, and other behind the scenes action.

Rust also took the opportunity to answer fan questions about a potential spin-off series (that admittedly doesn’t seem likely) and how true to his life the series is (the figure is 45.7%).

We got plenty of fun and insight out of Rust, so we eventually let him get back to work on more great TV for the masses to consume and enjoy. Thanks again, Paul. We love you.
