Orlando Jones on ORPHAN BLACK? Make the Fandom Madness So, Canadians! Please?

Now this we would just l-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-v-e to see. And it totally makes sense when you think about it. Orlando Jones, Sleepy Hollow star and king of ALL the fandoms (don’t worry, that’s science), may be conspiring to get himself a role on BBC America’s Orphan Black.

A long-time clone clubber himself — Jones was a guest on the season two lead-up special about OB, the Wil Wheaton-hosted The Cloneversation — Jones was on Twitter this afternoon doing what most of us in the sestrahood do on a near hourly basis: bemoaning the lack of new Orphan Black as-yet unavailable to us because, you know, they’re still writing it and casting it and creating it and stuff (UGH April 2015 is so far away). That’s when Temple Street Productions — the company that funds and creates the whole production — offered him the chance to audition. Half-joking, we’re sure, but it wasn’t taken as such. Jones, along with us, was quite serious about the offer.

C’MON! A worthy adversary for Sarah Manning? A new science buddy of Cosima’s? Perhaps Ange meets him during one of her seriously this-messes-up-everything, typically Ange-esque clone stalking jaunts? A monitor for Project Castor?! There are literally SO MANY OPTIONS. The mind, it reels.

And hey, if Patrick J. Adams of Suits fame could make it happen for himself (Helena and Jesse forever!), why not Jones, right?

Just go ahead and file this one under “things that must be so,” please.

Who would you cast Orlando Jones as on Orphan Black? Leave your ideas in the comments!
