The zombie apocalypse is going to have to wait now, since Techlandâs highly anticipated survival horror title, Dying Light, has been pushed back. Originally scheduled to launch later this year, the game has now been set to release in February 2015.
According to a press release from earlier, Techland assures its fans that the gameâs development team is committed to innovation, and wants to allow âfreedom of movement unprecedented in open-world games.â They go on to state that âafter many improvements and months of hard work, we have now come so close to realizing our initial vision we feel we cannot stop before it is ready.â
Despite its delay, Techland believes that the game will provide a fresh take on the open-world zombie genre, making the delivery of an experience built on âquality-focused thinkingâ and gameplay the title’s first priority.
More announcements about the gameâs features are forthcoming at E3 this June. Dying Light will scare up a storm on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 platforms.

Well at least I won’t have to chose between dying Light and Evil Within they had the same release date at Gamestop. I am disappointed but in the long run should be a better game
