A video in which Onyx finally meets senpai… but will he notice him?
A few weeks ago at the 11th annual Texas Frightmare Weekend, the Southwest convention dedicated to all things horror, Onyx the Fortuitous was approached by Fan Freak Out host Jennifer Van Damsel and shared his love for A Nightmare on Elm Street 2. Little did he know, Onyx had entered a contest, a contest that would let him meet his idol, acclaimed character actor Robert Englund, who portrayed the endlessly terrifying, delightfully maniacal Freddy Kreuger in the original A Nightmare on Elm Street series.
Yes, amidst rabid Freddy fans clad in burnt up masks, striped sweaters, and wielding the charismatic Sandman’s iconic claws, Onyx the Dream Warrior stood out above the rest and won a free ticket to meet Robert Englund.
What happens when Onyx met his hero? Did slasher senpai finally notice him?? Let’s just say there’s a poem called “Oh Kreuger, My Kreuger.” Onyx, you have truly outdone yourself this time.
