Oliver Has Girl Trouble in New ARROW Promo

This week’s Arrow featured a team-up between Diggle and some of Starling City’s worst forced to make good in an episode entitled “Suicide Squad.” Next week, the references to other DC books keep on flowing as we see the return of Huntress (Jessica De Gouw) in an episode entitled “Birds of Prey.”

She still seems to be up to no good, and still bitter toward Oliver for spurning her. What happens when Oliver’s masked badass ex-girlfriend squares off against Oliver’s masked badass current girlfriend? Awesome television is the answer! Seeing De Gouw’s Huntress and Caity Lotz’s Black Canary throw down will certainly be one of the highlights of this already-awesome season of Arrow.

Whether the title of the episode is just a fan tease or if we can assume that a team up with these two (and possibly Felicity added as the de facto Oracle???) is in the near future is up for speculation, but I’d totally watch this version of Birds of Prey, as it will have to be better than the last live-actual television adaptation. Arrow airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on the CW.

  1. Tim says:

Guys, c;mon. I’m DC comics born and raised but Birds of Prey was pretty awful. I watched most of the season hoping for more and better DC comics stuff, but after that clayface episode I couldn’t stand it anymore.

Also, whats up with the TV shows not featuring the original heroes? I have just as much of a problem with “Gotham” as I do with “Birds of Prey”.

  2. Josh says:

Yeah, Birds of Prey, not horrible. I wonder if Kyle actually watched the show or just watched the intro with the cheesy Alfred voice-over.

  3. The last Birds of Prey wasn’t horrible. It was like superheroine Charmed in Gotham.
