And on this day, bank accounts across America sang with joy after taking a deep sigh of relief. Why? Because Turtle Rock Studios has decided to take more time on their upcoming multiplayer shooter Evolve, pushing the game back to February 15, 2015, and removing it from the scarily over-crowded game release month of October 2014.
Perhaps this decision came about after Turtle Rock conducted their public Alpha last weekend, when they garnering feedback and stress testing servers, and (maybe) realized that the game would be best suited with a little more time to iron out the kinks. Yes, we’ve been anticipating the hell out of the release of this game here at Nerdist HQ, but even so, we still salute Turtle Rock for taking the time to put out the best possible product.
So with Evolve and Batman: Arkham Knight being pushed into 2015, Dragon Age: Inquisition being moved back to November 18, and Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor being moved up to September 30, how is the month of October looking to you now? Still crowded, but at least we can breathe a little easier.
Firefly Online too…. Nice positive article on the virtues of patience.
Man. I love this positive spin your able to take on this. I was bummed, and I would have had NO TIME to play it this year anyway.
