Oh My Disney And Mondo Team Up To Present a Special Gallery at South by Southwest

South by Southwest has been growing to encompass more topics over the years, and now it has more Disney flair. If you’re at SXSW this year, you’ll get your dose of the Mouse in a gallery event speared by the Oh My Disney blog and Mondo. The collectible art division of Alamo Drafthouse worked with Disney to release posters inspired by DuckTales and The Little Mermaid last year, and this year they’re taking the relationship to the next level and opening a gallery show with a “Nothing’s Impossible” theme.

The Mondo Gallery will open the Disney show on March 7, and it will run through the duration of SXSW. Visitors will be able to view artwork inspired by Disney films old and new by artists such as Dave Perillo, Francesco Francavilla, Dave Petersen, and Martin Ansin.

Mondo CEO Justin Ishmael is looking forward to sharing the magic, saying, “Disney has a special way of bringing out the magic in all of us and we’re very excited to bring that feeling to Austin at this year’s gallery event. Having worked with Oh My Disney over the last year, we know the site celebrates reinventing timeless stories and we hope our work sparks the imagination of both Disney and Mondo fans.”

If you’re not attending SXSW, you’ll be able to gaze at the art digitally. Oh My Disney and Mondo will be releasing the posters digitally every week leading up to opening night.
