As part of the “12 days of Deadpool,” culminating in the release of the new trailer Christmas day, the movie’s Twitter account posted one of the script pages, with annotated notes by the Merc with a Mouth himself.

In true Deadpool fashion, the notes range from nonsensical rants to digs at the studio. He suggests a new logo of just his gun and sword. Then he calls out director Tim Miller for leaking the test footage that was the catalyst for the movie being made in the first place. He then questions how he can make facial expressions when he’s wearing a mask (Ok, maybe they’re not ALL nonsensical). He makes sure to profess his love to 20th Century Fox as the best studio ever, but also disclaims that the exception is X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Considering what they did to Mr. Wilson in that film, his criticism is warranted. Oh, and let’s not forget the taco. It has nothing to do with improving the film, but tacos should never be forgotten.
Deadpool, starring Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, and T.J. Miller, opens in theaters February 12th, 2016.
So what do you think? Are these notes going to make the movie better? Or is this just another example of big time Hollywood trying to mess with one of our beloved properties? Let me know on Twitter or add some salsa to your tacos in the comments below.
