NYCC: THE WOLF AMONG US Gets New Trailer and PS4, Xbox One, PS Vita Release Date

New York Comic Con hasn’t even opened its doors yet, but the news has already started trickling out of the con. It’s no small secret that I really, really enjoyed Telltale Games’ The Wolf Among Us. Hell, I’ve gone as far as saying that Telltale is my favorite studio currently producing games thanks to the way that they deftly blend their licenses with thoughtful writing and old school adventure gaming. So, you can imagine my delight when I heard that the complete season, previously available as individually downloadable episodes, is being made available in physical form for the first time, as well as finally coming to next-gen platforms like PS4 and Xbox One, and current-gen handhelds like the PS Vita on November 4th. Now, considering that it’s available on practically every system short of the Nokia N-Gage, you really have no excuse not to delve into the dark noir inspired by Bill Willingham’s incredible, long-running Vertigo comic of the same name.

To celebrate the announcement, Telltale has released a brand new trailer

Note: This trailer contains language that may be NSFW, so maybe invest in some headphones already, huh?

If you’re based in Europe, you’ll have to wait three extra excruciating days to get your hands on the disc-based version of the game, but after November 7, The Wolf Among Us will be available on PS4, PS3, PS Vita, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, Mac, iOS, and, later this fall, Android devices including nVidia’s Project Shield. Now, hurry up and play through it already because I still have unresolved emotions about exactly what happened in “Cry Wolf”‘s final moments, and I need to talk about them with someone.
