Ryan Reynolds has taken the Deadpool character from the “comic-relief” superhero of Marvel Comics and turned him into a box office heavyweight, with the movie taking in over 150 million during its opening weekend. Now Reynolds wants to transition the fourth wall breaking mutant into new territory. Teaming up with Mike’s Hard Lemonade, the below video is the first (and probably last) episode of the new advice show Dear Deadpool.
Joined by his own Andy Richter, Weasel (T.J. Miller), Deadpool takes advice questions from his fans and answers them to the best of, well, HIS ability. When asked how to tell someone that their cooking isn’t exactly up to par, he explains the best knife to use to stab them in the chest. If you know Deadpool, then you can tell where the rest of video is going. The only thing more off than Deadpool’s sage advice is Weasel’s inability to pronounce city names.
Oh, and if you are really good at pausing videos at JUST the right moment, there are some easter egg images from the movie spliced throughout the episode. They are most definitely NSFW, so I would keep an eye out for your boss when viewing.
Deadpool, also starring Morena Barracin and directed by Tim Miller, is in theaters now.
So what do you think? Is Deadpool now YOUR advice guru? What question would you want answered by the Merc with a Mouth? Let me know on Twitter or sound off in the comments below.
