New Xbox One Model With 1 TB Hard Drive May Be on the Way

All hands on deck! E3 is almost here and that means the rumors are piling up faster than ever. This next leak comes straight out of Spain from the retailer by the name of Lamee. According to reports around the web, the retailer accidentally revealed an unreleased SKU for the Xbox One model. It looks like it’s going to be called the Xbox One Basic (really, Microsoft?), and it features a whopping 1 TB of hard drive space.

Though the listing has since been removed, you can check it out via a look at the Google Cache (we snagged from the folks at VG24/7). Feast your eyes on the sweet details below:

Xbox One Basic Listing 05112015

Just in case you don’t speak Spanish, the listing reveals that the system will retail for €449.99, and is set to release (or at least be available for pre-order) on June 23rd, 2015. Considering the fact that E3 takes place June 16-18, there’s a good chance that this will be one of the surprises (which won’t be a surprise anymore) that they drop during their 2015 E3 press conference. They’ve already hinted that they’ll be focusing on games this year, and with the recent rumor that Gears of War is getting an HD up-res, I personally couldn’t be more excited.

As of right now, the only other 1 TB system SKU available at the moment is the limited edition Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare edition. Since we’re moving in the direction of downloading many of our games, the revelation that the hard drive will boast 1 TB of hard drive space is a good thing to hear, especially for those who want to take advantage of the monthly downloadable freebies on the system.

Is it beginning to feel a lot like E3 season to you? Let us know what you’re looking forward to in the comments below.
