Will you side with the Alliance or fight with the Horde? Legendary Pictures and Universal Pictures are gearing up for war in a new TV spot for Warcraft, the upcoming adaptation of the wildly popular Warcraft games from Blizzard.
The Warcraft movie will explore the earliest days of the conflict between the humans and orcs, as the world of Azeroth is invaded by orc warriors from Draenor. Both races may face extinction, unless Anduin Lothar (Travis Fimmel) and his unexpected allies can find a way to save everyone. Warcraft’s new trailer offers some previously unseen footage that hints at the film’s epic scale and massive devastation. There may even be some surprises along the way.
While war is being crafted between these two noble races, it’s up to Lothar and Durotan (Toby Kebbell), the leader of the Orcs, to find a peace, or else perhaps both races will be decimated and that’s really not fun for anybody. Seeing the war on the big screen is going to be thrilling, but we can’t help but assume we’re going to love the meeting of the minds even more. Who doesn’t like a good peace accord? I mean, besides the people profiting from the war. Those guys always spoil a good sit-down.
Warcraft was directed by Duncan Jones, and it will invade movie theaters on June 10.
